Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MusicBall ("the App") is developed and published by Tinuv ("we", "us"). You can reach us at tinuv.yang@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information. Specifically, the App does not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number or any other contact detail
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV) or fingerprints
• Location data of any kind, precise or coarse
• Usage analytics, crash telemetry, session recordings or behavioural events
• The contents or names of the MIDI files you open
• Contacts, photos, microphone input, camera input, calendar or health data

The App requests no privacy-sensitive system permissions. It never asks for tracking authorisation because it has nothing to track you with.

3. Data stored on your device

Two things are written to the App's own sandboxed storage, and they never leave it:

• Imported MIDI files. When you import a file, a copy is placed in the App's Documents folder so it still opens next time you launch. You can delete any imported piece by long-pressing it in the library. Deleting the App removes all of them.
• Preferences. Which piece you played last, and per-piece settings such as the part you picked and the performance mode. These are a handful of strings and numbers stored in the App's own preference store.

If you have iCloud backup enabled for your device, Apple may include the App's storage in your encrypted device backup. That backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours — we have no access to it.

4. Network activity

The App makes no outbound network connections. There is no server component, no content delivery network, no remote configuration and no update check. It works identically in Airplane Mode.

5. Third-party SDKs

The App bundles two open-source Swift libraries — swift-composable-architecture and swift-navigation — which are application-architecture code. Neither performs networking, telemetry or data collection of any kind. There are no analytics, attribution, advertising, A/B testing or crash-reporting SDKs in the App.

6. Children

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since we collect no data at all, there is no children's data for us to hold, process or delete.

7. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPL (China) and LGPD (Brazil) grant you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its processing.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export or erase. You retain full control of the only data that exists — the files and preferences on your own device — and can remove all of it by deleting the App. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism to offer.

8. In-app purchases

The App contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions or advertising.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date. Should a future version of the App ever begin collecting data, we will say so here explicitly and in the App Store privacy label before that version ships.
